Hydroseed provides a protective layer of fiber and soil stabilizing glue that resists erosion. The long fibrous strands of Rice Straw create physical barriers to sheet flow of stormwater. Both methods conform to uneven and rocky slopes and can be applied with minimal disturbance to the soil.
